Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:

Painted Lady Antiques and Collectibles tries very hard to provide you with the very best and the most reasonably priced shipping service available. You will only be charged for actual shipping charges.
Insurance is required on all purchases.

Proof of delivery is required on all shipments and you must have a "Confirmed" Paypal address to take advantage of this offer.

Should an item be returned for any reason, the buyer is responsible for the new shipping and insurance costs.

US Customers:

Paypal, which accepts most major credit cards, is both efficient and convenient.

Your personal or business check (drawn on US Bank) is also welcome, but payment via personal check (or business check) will delay shipment until the payment clears. We will notify you by email when payment has cleared and will then ship your item. We will provide shipping details, including a tracking number.

International Customers:

We accept only PayPal and wire transfers for transactions outside the USA. After shipping we will e-mail you shipping details, including a tracking number.

We must complete all Customs declarations to report the nature and value of the items we sell. We will ship to only a CONFIRMED PayPal shipping address.

Return Policy Procedure:

If you are not pleased with your purchase, contact us by email or phone within 3 days of delivery of your item to arrange for its return and a refund of the purchase price.

We will acknowledge your return request within 3 days.

After receiving our acknowledgment, you will then ship the item back to the shop within 3 days:

The item must be returned via the original carrier (unless agreed otherwise in writing), in its original packaging, insured for its purchased price, and the item must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you.

You should use delivery tracking and get a delivery receipt.

The buyer pays for return shipping and insurance.

After we verify the returned item is as originally sent, we will issue a refund within 3 days. For protection of both, we will send the refund to the buyer in a traceable manner where receipt confirmation can be verified.

Damaged items are handled separately as described immediately below.

Damaged Item Procedure:
Please do not return items damaged in shipment, as doing so will void the shipping insurance.

All shipments will be insured. To begin the process, please contact us and alert us to the damage.

If you, the recipient, file a claim, we will provide you with the necessary insurance information.

Be sure to retain all original packaging as well as all pieces of the damaged item because the shipping agent will ask to examine them.

Claims should be made through the original shipping agent.
